FOR THE TIME BEING

Poet F.T. Marinetti published the Manifesto of Futurism in 1909 as propaganda for the futurist agenda in accordance with aggressive dismissal of the past through violence, speed, war, and machinery. As a reminder of what this mentality looks like on paper, this project sought to translate the raw text and implied concepts into expressive but still sophisticated typography and design—a demonstration that even absurd prospects from popular leaders can be made to look mature, enticing, powerful, and easily distributed.
